Cushion Masterclass Workshop

In this one day workshop you will learn how to make two class styles; a piped scatter cushion, complete with a zip and a buttoned bolster cushion.

Learn the techniques and skills required to construct a scatter cushion to a professional standard including how to accurately measure and cut your fabric, make piping using bias cut strips and piping cord, and how to insert a zip. You will be shown how to master those tricky corners and joins on the sewing machine.

You will then progress to making a buttoned bolster cushion where you will be guided through the process of measuring, marking and cutting your fabric pieces before learning how to construct the cover. You will then learn how to create the rouched ends using hand stitching before finally making and attaching your buttons.

The class is suitable for all levels of experience however, some basic machine experience is preferable. Class sizes are kept small allowing for plenty of one-to-one support to guide you through these projects.

Cushion inners will be provided with a 20" square feather pad for your scatter cushion and an 18" x 8" cushion pad for your bolster and all other materials, excluding fabric, are included in the price.

Fabric is available to purchase from our onsite shop. on the day, however, if you wish to bring your own fabric please see the info on fabric opposite.
