How do I book a workshop

 

Simply browse our workshops online and check availability. You can book online with a credit card, debit card or PayPal account. (It isn’t necessary to have a PayPal account in order to book online). Or you can telephone and pay for your workshop with a credit or debit card over the phone. Please note full payment is required in advance.

 

What if I need to cancel my workshop booking

How many students are there in a workshop

 

We like to keep our workshops small and friendly, so there are usually around 8 people, depending on the activity.

 

What should I bring

 

All tools are provided for our upholstery workshops. Any materials required can be purchased at cost. Any fabric required for your project can be purchased from our on-site fabric shop.

 

What age range are the workshops for

 

Our general workshops are for adults of all ages, minimum age 16.

 

Can I turn up to a workshop on the day

 

Unfortunately not, although if you join our mailing list we’ll send you details of any last-minute availability. Or you can call on the morning of a desired workshop to see if we still have spaces.

Is there parking at the workshop

 

There is ample car parking spaces located outside the workshop within Wath Court.

 

Are refreshments provided

 

All workshops include hot and cold refreshments. If you are attending a full day workshop then please either bring a packed lunch or alternatively food can be purchased nearby in Hovingham village.

 

Can I buy gift vouchers

 

You can buy gift vouchers online, over the phone or in person at Jody Gray Upholstery workshop. Vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase. Please note Jody Gray Upholstery School vouchers can be redeemed against workshops only and cannot be used for payment of resources or fabric. Gift vouchers for Wath Court Fabrics can be purchased in the shop. 

 

Where can I buy fabric and equipment

 

A wide range of fabrics can be bought from Wath Court Fabrics, located at the rear of Jody Gray Upholstery School. The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00am - 4.00pm. For further details please visit the website www.wathcourtfabrics.co.uk. We sell a wide range of materials, tools and haberdashery supplies in our workshop.
